SONIC: The best game ever?

SONIC SPINBALL

I have never actually played this game, but I do know it came out the same time as Sonic 3 did on the Megadrive / Genesis. Again, if anyone has any information it would be appreciated.

This screenshot is from Sonic Drift 2 on the Gamegear. A blatant cash-in or Mario Kart except that this is rubbish. Avoid!
